Dr. Benjamin Glaser

Ben Glaser is Director of AI Initiatives in the Humanities at Yale Library and the Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning, where he leads university-wide strategies to explore generative AI in teaching and research. Ben received his PhD in English from Cornell University in 2012, and was a faculty member in Yale’s English department from 2013-2025. His research on poetry and poetics has been published in a range of venues, including his book Modernism’s Metronome: Meter and Twentieth-Century Poetics (JHUP, 2020).
