Sherry McLaughlin

 

As Director of Postsecondary Success, SHERRY MCLAUGHLIN leads a team of coaches who support educators in guiding students through the development and completion of postsecondary goals. The team focuses on data, resources and strategies to enhance the work of Counseling Departments and Administrative teams ensuring successful outcomes for all students.

Sherry has been with the RISE Network for three years, however is not new to the postsecondary world.   As a school counselor and Director of Counseling in Connecticut, Sherry also served as a district leader as Supervisor of Postsecondary Planning and Data Integration. While working as a District Supervisor, Sherry was a key partner across the RISE Network in leading the design, launch, and refinement of Grade 9 and Postsecondary Strategies.

Sherry earned her B.A. in English and Psychology from the University of Southern Maine and continued her education at Southern Connecticut State University with a Masters in School Counseling and a Sixth-Year Certificate (SYC) in Educational Leadership.
